it's been a while....
...and we've been busy. And I mean really busy!!! We moved into our new apartment in Ardenwood Forest on friday, went car hunting on saturday, bought the car on saturday, left the car at the dealership for the accessories and for lack of an insurance, went grocery shopping on sunday, made mountains of food on sunday, assembled the dining table on sunday, went to office on monday, bought insurance online on monday, brought the car from the dealership on monday back to the office, showed it around to colleagues on monday, drove back in the evening.......and then took a sigh of relief.

Note that you have had an exceptionally busy week end. But the same has been very very productive - for, you have shifted into your own apt and acquired a new CAR!! Hey, how about the full addrss of your apt? How do we know where to land on reaching CA??!!
Saw the car on web site. Looks very sleek. Appears smaller than Ford Fiesta. There should be no problems driving the same around, both for you as well as Mahi. The driver's seat seem to have all the adjustments for height, front & back as well as reclining. The steering too is adjustable. Good. It MUST be a pleasure driving in US with regulated traffic - and with lights on during day time!!
The coming week ends would be even more busy and exciting with loooooooooooooooooooooooooong drives on the agenda!! Not to forget all the excitement of C & R's visit, which is barely 21 days away - I mean only three weeks away!!
Nothing more as of now. Have a nice week and wish you both miles and miles of enjoyable drive in your new possession!!

Hi Papa, great to see you following this blog, and nice to see your post. Yup, we really had a busy weekend. Today we will go to Costco to pick up some supplies and appliances. Will mail you our address separately. And as for knowing where you need to land in CA, dont worry, we will be the ones to come and pick yu up - and we will definitely know where we are !!!!
Mahi drove yesterday within the city, along with me and Anil, so yes, we are getting used to the car. Actually, it is bigger than the Fiesta, and the space management is amazing. Not sure if the coming weekend will have drives as we would be still shopping to furnish our place..., but yes we are looking forward to chinni & raja's visit.
Whew, that did take my breath away!
Wheee! Happy home-setting-up, Bachhas! AND, happy car-getting, too! Eagerly looking forward to the snaps.
PS: Jamien finally here --(hilariously) getting used to being Boss.
