We climbed up from Stanford Avenue, and took a total of two hours to reach the top. It's a 2.8 mile hike one way, and a round trip is 5.6 miles. Coming down was faster, and that's when we actually realised the distance we had trekked. It felt as if it took ages to reach the entrance gate.
All in all it was a good hike - though we are still suffering from the after effects of the same. Planning to go again this weekend too, if possible.
The picture han't been taken by me - it's one I pulled off the internet, as we weren't carrying cameras at that time.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteThats good! The picture looks nice. Must have been a tough climb. Must have had a nice picnic I guess. Njoi.
Mom & Dad
Hi, Sweethearts! It was LOVELY talking to you both just now.
ReplyDeleteGoodness gracious! 5.6 miles means more than ten kilometers!!! And for Mahi's litle legs, it must've been longer!
Good, Bachhas, keep it up -- enjoying, I mean!
LOTS of love and BIGBIG hugs:-)
Hi Ramesh
ReplyDeleteGreat posts, I liked the one about your trip to Napa Valley! Keep posting more stuff!
Regards
Sameer
Hi Sameer, sorry for the delayed response. Thanks. Will try to keep this alive - but it does seem to be getting more and more difficult by the day!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you aunty. It was great talking to you too, the other day. technically, it was about 9 kms. But it was well worth it. It's after quite some time, that I've found something that I really like doing!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Papa. Yup, it was a tough climb - but as I mentioned to Gulshan aunty - it was well worth it. All the more better for us, if we decide to trek through Yosemite!!!
